“I’m Lauren Bybee, the West Texas Division Director for Therapy 2000 / Green Apple. I am a Speech-Language Pathologist by trade and a native West Texan! I grew up in Lubbock, Texas and attended Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center for my undergraduate degree. I then received my graduate degree from West Texas A&M University in Canyon, Texas in 2014.

After a quick 6 years of living and working in Amarillo, we relocated back to Lubbock in January 2018. I married my college sweetheart in 2010, and we have two energetic kiddos, Harper age 8, and Hudson age 4. I love Lubbock and West Texas deeply and you can usually find me at a TTU sporting event, participating in a local event around town, or spending time with my family and friends. (Wreck Em’ Tech!)

The pediatric population has been my passion as far back as I can remember – I worked as a speech therapy assistant in pediatrics while attending graduate school and found my heart was fulfilled seeing kiddos flourish and grow. After transitioning from a clinic setting into the home health setting in 2018, I immediately felt the missing piece of the therapy puzzle fall easily into place for me. Providing treatment and education to my patients in the comfort and familiarity of their own home was the bridging component of learning therapeutic strategies and implementing those strategies into daily routines. I am honored to be leading the West Texas division as we continue to create these bridges of function and independence across the South Plains and the Texas panhandle.
